Board game plays July 2021

Bit late this month, but here are the board games I played the most in July.

Generally, plays are down - probably a combination of better weather and things opening out again after all the lockdowns.

Top of the list again is Imperium Classics with 6 plays. I have set myself the aim to play solo all the combinations of nations, so there is a lot of replayability.

Next up with 3 sessions is The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine - we have been working through the missions as a family which has been a lot of fun.

Also in 2nd= place is Imperium Legends - the same game as Imperium Classics except with different nations. I am yet to play it solo but my kids enjoy the variety using the nations in legends (I mean who doesn't want to play as the Atlantians or the Aruthians!)

Also in 2nd= is Terraforming Mars - still my go-to online game to play friends, but I have also been playing with my kids in pass-and-play mode.

In 4th place is Ohanami - an impluse buy that arrived at the end of the month before we headed on holiday. It is a fairly simple and calm game about building three gardens by ordering cards in numerical order.

Otherwise we played quite a variety of old favourites via my board game picker including Blukus, Catan, Pictures, Prehistory and Small World. We also got in our first game of Sleeping Gods - a game we have been sitting on for months!
