Am I a proud leader with a bunch of underlings? No, I have a co-founder, graphic designer wife and an old friend helping out the project for a year++, which I haven't pay her anything. No one with a connection to my startup has been paid, yet.
Still, boss, I am. (Or bosses we are, if taking my co-founder into account). Boss has different stages, and I am at the stage where I have to create something which others deem valuable and will pay money in exchange for my stuff. Also still at the stage, no one has paid yet.
Still in it? Yes, we are getting there.
Still in it? Oh yes, I tasted freedom again after 10 years of working for others, I don't want to lose it.
Still in it? Hell yes, we are solving a real problem, helping someone to get a better working life, making value.
