This Time With More Exoentities!

It’s been a month since I queried my literary agent of choice, and so far I haven’t heard back. Impossible to tell what that means—and writing a follow-up email isn’t usually considered to be good manners in this context. There’s an acronym, CNR, for “Closed No Response,” and it’s up to you to figure out when that might be the case! Then again, a month isn’t such a long time. Plus, by the end of February, I will have finished a chapter-by-chapter outline for my follow-up novel, and that’s something I then can indeed follow up with, as it’s new information and relevant. Nevertheless, I should do more research and make a list of literary agents that would be a good fit as well. (It’s perfectly fine, by the way, and even necessary, to query several agents at once. I just didn’t do it this one time.)

As for other activities, I wrote a blog post on Robert E. Howard’s Original Conan Stories over at my Voidpunk Universe website, particularly about the sequence in which they should be read. And there are several new posts at my Instagram accounts betweendrafts and voidpunkverse.

Then, I uploaded a new album on Flickr, Beijing VI: Chaoyang & Ritan Park (12 images), one of which I re-edited for Glass. Then, I tried out the AI-powered artwork tool Wombo Dream. With some adjustments in Affinity Photo, I created Aervuqq, my first own exoentity! (It’s on my voidpunkverse Tumblr account right now, but I will crosspost it soon on Instagram.)

Finally, for your entertainment, this revelation about puzzles cracked me up last week. Also, here’s a little bunny. And a little kitten!

Oh, and check out this awesome lighthouse map: the colors are the lighthouses’ actual colors, the patterns are their true lighting patterns, and the dot sizes mark the distances at which their lights can be seen.

Ahoy!
