If someone else can do it, don’t do it.

So many business owners don’t ever achieve what they are capable of because they can’t let go of those tasks and projects that they believe only they can do.

And the belief is not true.

They could train someone else up to do it just as well, if not better, and they could keep growing and progressing themselves.

When entrepreneurs are trying to hold on to tasks, it only serves to demotivate their team. The team feels micromanaged, they don’t have freedom to add their own spin, they’re being watched carefully because their leader can’t let go.

It’s all ego, really.

Unless you are the only person on the entire planet that could do something, don’t do it. Train and delegate until you do find the thing that you have that absolute advantage with. Because that, and only that, is what you should be doing.
