Where are you in your career? What’s your endgame?

I was writing in my journal this morning and thoughts about my career and where I’m at occurred to me. Here’s what I wrote that I’d love your thoughts on:

Career wise - I wonder if I’ll ever be content? Will I forever go from chasing one thing to the next? Ultimately, I know what I want my career to look like, I guess what I’m asking myself is will I ever be satisfied?

Question to you:
Where are you in your career? What’s are your Endgame? Are you satisfied?

Quote of the Week
A few months ago, I read the amazing book Eleven Rings, by former Chicago Bulls / Los Angeles Lakers Coach Phil Jackson and this one of the 53 highlights I saved from his book - “Vietnamese Zen teacher Thich Nhat Hanh talks about “dwelling happily in the present moment,” because that’s where everything you need is available. “Life can be found only in the present moment,” he writes. “The past is gone, and the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.”

What really hit me in the above quote is the ability to dwell in the present moment. The more conscious I’ve become about time over the last few months, the more I’ve focused on dwelling happily in the present moment, yet here I am, wondering about the future and whether I’ll ever be satisfied. The struggle huh! I think it’s good to keep these things in mind, without getting lost in the sauce.
