Before I nuked my Kakoune, Kitty, nnn and jrnl config folders, I used to set the theme on all CLI Apps I used in my Kitty. It never occurred to me that these CLI Apps may use my terminal colors directly if I never asked them to use their own colors. I was wrong. Earned another lesson from my painful nuke-my-config-lol lesson yesterday night.
Kitty made it super easy to change themes: just use the kittens. Type `kitty +kittens themes` into a kitty terminal and a wonderful TUI Apps will show all the available themes and let you choose the one you fancy. Changing the theme is as simple as doing the whole kitten thing again.
I remembered I spent a great deal of time perfecting my Kakoune colorscheme against my Kitty's colors. Now I just choose a nice Kitty themes and use Kakoune default colorscheme. So simple, yet it took a great pain for me to learn about this.
Yes, I still can't get over my stupid nuke-all-config-lol mistake.
