Hermit mode

When you want to get a lot of stuff done, sometimes only hermit mode will do.

Hermit mode is what I have started doing every so often, in six week periods, to focus on the big things and do none of the little things.

During hermit mode, you ruthlessly cut out everything that doesn't contribute to your mission. That includes chatting in Whatsapp groups, shopping, socialising, entertainment, and traveling anywhere.

It involves intense planning of your days, hour-by-hour, a strict list of what you will not do, sticking to it and coming out the other side a totally different person.

You’ll probably want to warn your friends and family.

We’ve become accustomed to having such busy lives filled with distractions and obligations. Hermit mode can be a refreshing way to focus and get stuff done.

Could you hide away for six weeks?
