Another comment in Ask Your Developer reminded me of something I’ve been thinking about for a while now as I’ve been CTO at Tithely.

Coders are creative.

I swear more than half the engineering department, including our Director of Engineering, Christian Helvin are musicians.

Others love to draw or paint.

Some are what you’d describe as your typical geek or nerd yet they are still creative in their own way.

I love that the idea of coders being far more creative than they are given credit for is starting to change.
