For those who call themselves a Christian, we are instructed to pray for those in authority over us (1 Timothy 2:1-2) and submit to governing authorities (Romans 13:1-7).
The only time God permits us to disobey earthly authorities is when they require us to do something morally wrong or attempt to rule outside the realm of their authority.
After the last few years it’s easy to be disillusioned by what has gone on inside government’s and leaders, the mandates and so on.
It’s easy to all of a sudden see everything the government is doing now is wrong or has an agenda behind it.
But something I’m trying to remind myself of are those two verses above.
God has the whole world in his hands 🙌🏻
