Rain World

Not much has changed, weather-wise, except for one beautiful summer day the day before yesterday that felt just like the vacation weather I feel acutely entitled to! And while so far it hasn’t been raining today, it looks like it’s fixing to all the time, and temperatures snapped back into the low 70s. You can do better, summer!

On my blog between drafts, I wrote about The Film Formats of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and condensed several of my Mastodon and Instagram posts into brief movie reviews for Last Sentinel, Asteroid City, and L’immensità. (Plus, there’s one micro review on Mastodon of The Menu, which I watched on a streaming channel at home.) Not a lot’s been going on at my Instagram accounts, but I kept up posting my daily vintage-style squaries at Pixelfed and uploaded two new albums on Flickr: 30 shots taken along a highrise walk from Suntec City to the CBD in Singapore, and 20 shot from the Panjiayuan Antique Market in Beijing.

This week’s game recommendation—the final one from last June’s Indie Game Fest—is A Twisted Tale, a humoristic point-&-click adventure solo-developed by Eva. You can download the demo for Mac, Linux, and PC over at itch.io or, if you have a Steam account, you can download it there and also put it on your wishlist. Enjoy!
