Portico Darwin: What I Want in The Middle East

TODAY'S RAMBLINGS

<1 Minute Read

I took both of these just yesterday.

The first, of The Golden Gate Bridge, was snapped a bit after sunrise, during my daily 5 mile walk in The Presidio.  The origin of the second photo, of The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, is a bit more nefarious:  I snapped it with Miguel Shannon after a boozy lunch at my beloved Perry's on The Embarcadero.

If only it were as easy to build a bridge between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

If only.

FROM THE UNWASHED MASSES

A primary reason for the short and simple post today is that I'd like to shine a bright spotlight on the words of my great friend, Steven Simon.

This is your space and you should express your opinion.

Prior to Hamas purposely murdering innocent people to derail Israel's normalization efforts and wider acceptance with their neighbors, hundreds of thousands protested Bibi's Trump-like efforts to consolidate power.

Speaking out against administration policies does not make you anti-Semitic or anti-Israel any more than Israeli citizens marching in the streets.  If anyone disagrees with that, I'd like to know why.

What Steven said!

Thank you for reading this newsletter.

Let's finish the job.  Here are two nice Jewish boys from Queens with "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

For the record, Arthur and I were celebrating 40 years of Diamond Certified friendship during our recent trip to Mexico together.
